Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to handle content management, marketing communications, sales support, press relations, and industry partner relations.
We publish research reports and forecasts on a number of emerging cleantech sectors including Renewable Energy, Clean Transportation, and Energy Efficiency. In addition, we conduct custom research and consulting projects for technology companies, government agencies, and the investment community.
The Marketing Coordinator will provide assistance to the company’s research and sales management in several key areas:
- Build contact lists for industry outreach, marketing campaigns, and sales initiatives
- Execute outbound marketing and outreach campaigns
- Conduct background research to support marketing and sales efforts
- Analyze and report on sales and marketing metrics
- Handle research content posting to the company’s website
- Assemble marketing collateral based on existing templates
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key members of the press
- Negotiate and manage key relationships with industry associations, conference organizers, and other industry partners
Key competencies for the position include:
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, database skills are a plus
- Proficiency with basic graphics design
- Familiarity with web-based tools such as WordPress, Salesforce.com, etc. is a plus
- Copy editing skills are also a plus
- Excellent internet search skills
- Interest in emerging technology and energy markets
The position is full-time and includes a competitive base salary plus medical and dental benefits.
We are an entrepreneurial company that is still very new, so our culture is fast-paced but casual. The position is based in our Boulder, Colorado headquarters.
